Creating a grant in the Palm Collective is an excellent way to channel funds into the community. Follow this step-by-step guide to create a new grant and engage with the community effectively:
Step 1: Access the Governance Section
- Navigate to your profile and click on "Governance" located in the left-side menu. This is your gateway to governing activities within the Palm Collective.
Step 2: Initiating the Creation Process
- In the top-right corner, find the button that reads "Create New Grant" and give it a click. This is the first step to make your grant idea come to life.
Step 3: Fill Out the Grant Form
- Title: Craft a descriptive title for your grant that quickly conveys its purpose.
- Call to Action: Add compelling text that encourages community participation.
- Benefit: Highlight the benefits of engaging with this grant.
- Description: Provide a detailed explanation of the grant, including its purpose, goals, and specific criteria.
- Rules: List any rules participants should follow.
- Dates: Determine the grant's timeline with start and end dates.
- Submission Details: Customize the submission process:
- Max Submission Length: Specify the maximum character limit for submissions.
- Submissions per Wallet: Define the maximum submissions per wallet.
- Permissions and Contracts: Fine-tune who can participate:
- Add Permission Contracts: Select eligible Proof of Contribution (POC) contracts.
- Vote Permission Contracts: Choose contracts for voting on submissions.
- Curator Permission Contracts: Determine contracts for curating winning submissions.
- Tag: Assign a tag for easy identification.
- Grant Images: Enhance your grant with visuals:
- Grant Image: Optionally, add an accompanying image.
- Grant Logo: Optionally, upload a logo for the grant tile.
Step 4: Review and Publish
- Review all information for accuracy and completeness.
- Click "Publish" to finalize. Note that published grants cannot be edited, so ensure accuracy.
