Step 1: Access the Governance Section
- Start by navigating to your profile and clicking on "Governance" located in the left-side menu. This will take you to the governance hub of the Palm Collective.
Step 2: Initiating the Creation Process
- In the governance section, find the button that reads "Create New Vote" and click on it. This will start the process of creating your new vote.
Step 3: Fill Out the Vote Details
- Title: Craft a clear and concise title for your vote that reflects the topic or question being voted on.
- Description: Provide a detailed description of what the vote is about. Include any background information or context that voters need to know.
- Options: Define the options that voters can choose from. Each option should be distinct and clearly worded.
- Duration: Set the duration of the vote by selecting a start date and an end date. You can also specify the time when the vote will start and end.
- Voting Criteria: Specify who can participate in the vote. You can choose from options such as all users, staked users only, or specific community members.
- Voting Weight: Determine if all votes will have equal weight or if certain users will have a higher voting weight based on their level or staking amount.
- Tag: Assign a tag for easy identification of the vote.
